Louise's Eczema story

Hi my name is Louise I am 27 years old and have suffered with Eczema since I was 6 months old.
I have had an awful time with this terrible disease eg had to change Primary School because I got picked on. When I was younger I had no nails as they got infected and dropped off due to scratching and the scabs being pushed right up my nail bed.
But thank god when I got to my early teens like so many other Eczema sufferers it seemed to clear up so my High School days were great.
I have had many treatments eg light treatment and lotions and potions some of which work for a bit and then I get immune to them so have to find something else.
My skin wasn't that bad really until I moved out of my mums and now I go through stages where like recently I cant move because I am in so much pain with it and have no skin on my face it is just raw,weeping,swollen and bright red like I have been burnt.
I have recently found out I am pregnant with my first child so I have been really bad with my skin but thanks god it has cleared up at the moment due to antibiotics.
I just pray that my child doesn't have it because I honestly dont know how I would cope it is bad enough for me but to have to see my child go through what I did.
I just wish that someone would find a cure because I find it really hard to cope with and get really annoyed when my friends moan about a bludy spot on there face!
But my friends say that they dont even notice it and I have a boyfriend of 8 years and he is great.
